RESUME
Research Statement
I work to build an understanding of different psychological and perceptual effects of virtual environments and technology on spatial understanding, transfer of learning from virtual environments, behavior simulation aiding design and training, remote-teams, collaborations, transactive memory, communication and human-computer interaction.
To do this I focus my investigations on the relationship between immersion and the sense of embodiment found in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality tools by identifying and unpacking the degree to which they offer different display and interactive capabilities.
